For the past two summers the New Brunswick Chapter of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society partnered with the Nature Conservancy of Canada to offer a free nature walk at the Johnson’s Mills Shorebird Reserve.

Locals and tourists to the region joined to see the spectacular shorebird migration and to learn more about how the birds depend on this important area.
CPAWS NB and Nature Conservancy of Canada staff also shared insights into work that is being done to protect important habitats that connect the headwaters in the area all the way down to deep waters of the Inner Bay of Fundy. We had a great turn-out and participant enthusiasm at each of the walks!
