From 2022 to 2025, the Healthy Coasts NB group was a driving force behind conservation efforts in the Chaleur region. Through a series of over a dozen events, the group effectively connected with the community, not only by listening to their concerns about the coastline but also by inspiring a deeper appreciation for nature. This collaborative work resulted in a comprehensive conservation plan that now serves as a foundational document for the Chaleur Bay Watershed Group’s management strategy and community engagement.
